There is nothing more precious and important than the gift of life. I only take on a few select newborn sessions yearly and I also offer maternity sessions year round for expectant mothers. I love setting up beautiful props, soft blankets, and sweet things to compliment your baby and of course I ADORE all of the detail shots, like the tiny hands and feet and the love between parents and their new child.

 

My newborn sessions are on location in your home using natural lighting and during the warmer months, outdoor baby photos are magical to say the least. Pets are welcome at these sessions as well!

Pets are such an important part of our lives and our families! They bring so much joy to us every day and are the true testament to unconditional love! This is why I always encourage families and couples to bring their pets if they can to their sessions as I know how very special and cherished they are!

 

My pet sessions are all done outdoors on location, and I will photograph pretty much any pet, but specialize in dog show, dog, cat, and horse photography! My dog show sessions are often done during dog show weekends so please message me for details on upcoming show availability!

 

*A personal note on dog show photography: I am not just a pet photographer! I started showing/handling and raising CKC Reg. German Shepherds when I was 15 years old, winning the Provincial Juinor Handling Competition at 17 years old and dozens of first place wins in the juniors ring! I also completed well over a dozen Championships on my own dogs and other people's breeds through being hired for professional handling. I have experience in every sport from Sprinters, to Show, to Schutzhund, and I have the utmost respect for the dog sport/show exhibitors who pour so much of their time, money and life into their passion. I now own a beautiful Standard Poodle and have completed many titles on him in a variety of sport and show! I believe this is what sets me apart from other pet photographers, as I have been a part of the dog show world & community for over 25 years. I know what I am looking for structurally and what brings out the best qualities and assets in every dog. I am passionate about the world of purebred dogs and have massive support for our Kennel Clubs & individual breeds! I have even had the honor of getting to judge a Junior Handling competition!
